The Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program SOAP process for the Match will be unlike any other, supporting a fully virtual interview season and a new fourth round. For Applicants and programs, it represents a final anxiety-ridden step towards a hopefully successful match. The entire process including three, but sometimes more, rounds of offers takes place Monday through Thursday of Match week. SOAP maynot be the most direct route to matching to a residency program, but can be just as rewarding.
