Neutral games vision walkthrough

Dug it! Thanks, Pineapple, for that 'hint-thru' I try to do now zoom in on the exposed gears in front of you, and put the gold gear in place, then back outside to throw the lever, then back in here to look at the gears again , but I cant do it! It dont works!

Why Happens with That? I just tried it, and it works. Make sure the seahorse matches the sketchbook, no lines outside the border, and check the intersection between the man's hand and the snake, and the bird's body. This is the greatest room escape game I've ever played. The gameplay is the closest thing to perfect I've encountered in this genre, and the puzzles are intriguing and logical; never too easy or hard. It has made me a Neutral fan. I am willing to spend hours upon hours on any game he decides to release.

I kind of like these short adventure game. I can't spin the second metal piece around. I click it and click it and nothing happens. Then the walkthrough mentions something about putting the pegs in the second and third hole of five I'm lost as to where these five hole on the wall are.

Pick up the item on top of the left bookcase. When the plant wall has been activated, move the base of the metal sculpture out of the way. Voila, peg holes. I need help with spoiler I have put the hand crank in the floor, but I can't seem to crank it.. I'm just clicking like mad everywhere. Do I have to do something specific to be able to crank it or what?

I'm stuck at the part after I get the second metal puzzle piece thing, where do I metal handle described in step 36 of the walkthrough? In Inventory: venus fly trap, headless wooden doll, picture frame, green and blue marbles, and seer thing. I've done everything that the hint-through said but I just can't open the metal thing. What am I doing wrong? I did everything! Wrong gem. This is a tough one, as there's no indicator of size.

You got me. It should be sticking out of the floor, then you click it, then the animation starts. Umm, I'm kinda stucked on the part wherein you have to put the green and gold gem on the clock. I can seem to put the green orb on the clock. Aaah this is driving me crazy!

I'm stuck at the second gear box outside. I have all the right numbers I've checked a billion times. My code should be And yes I looked at the sketchbook showing that the numbers go in that clockwise spiral, but when I enter the numbers it won't open. Is there like a specific way to open it because I have tried every way I can think of. Welshey Be sure you have the correct marble. It's not like the others. I got stuck at the beam from frog.

The beam point out the 5 o'clock and I have two marble green and blue. According to the walk through. But I can not. What am I going to do? That was pretty great. I needed the hint through a few times, but I was able to figure out a lot of it myself perhaps from experience with previous JIG-featured room escapes. The main trouble I had, I think, was with finding the screws, and with getting the peg-device.

Also, I think the necessity of using the yellow marble is a little bit annoying, as there are only four positions for that fish, but I can see why neutral made it that way. I'm really behind I know lol. So I just got the wine bottle and I have no idea how to open it?? A possible game bug? I've played this game a few times and not experienced this issue before.

The marble you need to use is actually the gold-rimmed one that is on the box that you open with the green key. When you open the box, look closely and you'll see a screw on the lid. Use the screwdriver on it, close the box and retrieve the gold-rimmed green gem.

That's what you use on the clock. Thanks for bringing it up Abbie! I love Neutral's games and I really enjoyed playing this one over I keep on clicking the fish skeleton button on the fish puzzle and nothing happens! It just turns around and around and it doesn't open the box! I've already clicked on the right squares according to the 4x4 image, restarted the page and everything after saving! Vmill: Have you checked out malek's walkthrough above? Point 35 mentions where and how to use the crank.

Hope that helps! Once the hand crank is in the floor, while still focused in on it, you should be able to click it on the top part of the handle and it will turn on its own. Make sure your game screen isn't cutting off the top part of the handle The turning of the crank is an animation, so make sure you have everything updated in your browser Flash, etc to let that happen.

It's possible that using a different browser -- Chrome or Firefox -- could also solve the issue. I realize this game is ages old now, but I just found and played it. Made it through with no help!

A very happy day in my escape career! This is one of he first escape games I played. I just replayed it, and it remains one of my favorites.

There is a mistake in Walkthrough step The Hexagon is not 6. In order to find it you need to check the base of the windmill. Put the windmill on. When I played the number that appeared was 5. Please enable Javascript in your browser to see and use spoilers. Vision Walkthrough click on the wineglass twice to grab it then go back. Now watch the right grey gears as it turns it will reveal a key, take it and then zoom out.

Desk wall first view Explore every unlocked drawer, nook and cranny. Did you pick up two items for your inventory? If not, keep looking. You should have the wineglass from the shelf, and the screwdriver handle from the drawer. There are two numerical clues here. They're not written in plain sight. The other is not on the desk, but near it. It's on a wall in shadow. It's to the right of the desk, near the corner. On the shelf unit, there's a box with a green gem on top.

On the top shelf, there's a box with a fish lock. On the desk, there's a map with a compass rose. And there's a locked drawer you can't open. Did you pick up one item for your inventory? Did you lift the couch cushions? You should have a hand crank with a square end, from under the left couch cushion. Did you look behind the couch? Did you examine the picture on the wall? Check out the clock. The clock hand looks familiar. Like the end of a screwdriver.

Did you lift the items on top of the cabinet? Weird how that fruit bowl seems to stick down into the cabinet. Wonder what happens if you open the top drawer with the fruit bowl lifted? Aha, the fruit bowl serves as a key. Take the wooden figure from the drawer. Did you examine the wooden figure? Seems bendy. Good to know for later. There are two things to find. Did you pick up the maroon book on the far right?

Get the tool from the book. Examine it. It's not a knife; it's a corkscrew. Did you pick up the green book with the paper marker? Too bad that page is ripped, huh? Wonder what the message reads. Did you look all around? See anything behind the stool? Jot it down. All the decorative items seem to be permanent, don't they?

One of them isn't. Look closely. Look at the shelf under the frog box. It's screwed down. You could probably take it when you get that screwdriver together. A locked drawer and a locked cabinet. Examine the cabinet. It has a combination lock, not a key lock. Looks like you'll need a four-digit sequence to put in. You should have added two things to inventory from this cabinet area. Look everywhere. Like, behind the cabinet, or on top of the cabinet. To the left of the cabinet in the corner is a wad of paper.

You should examine it. Looks like it was ripped from a book. On top of the cabinet is a strange tool. Looks like the pegs can be adjusted in different combinations, or reset. Not as much to see here, but explore anyway. What's that panel on the wall? If you open it, you can turn the lights off and on.

Wonder if that changes the view of things. Aha, a scrap of paper you couldn't see before. It reads "newsense" That's a made-up word. Probably a code, huh? Wonder where it could be used. Hint-Through, Part 2: Start Solving Stuff Compass Rose Puzzle If you haven't found a map, a box with four buttons, and a scrap of paper with letters on it, you aren't ready to solve this.

So, you have a compass rose on the desk. And a compass rose with buttons on a box. How do you get that box open? Looks like you need to push those buttons in some order. What value might those buttons have? The compass rose box produces a hexagonal key. Figure out what lock it opens. There's a bottle inside. Take it. Looks corked, huh? Now go see what that key unlocks! Inside the green marble is a pretty flower picture.

And a code. So you've got the three numerals that correspond to the shapes. Do the math. Did you get a four-digit answer? Wonder where you could use a four-digit number. One is a weirdly shaped piece of metal, the other is a weird plant. Examine both. What did you learn from the plant? It's a Venus Flytrap, by the way. So you've got a clue that looks like it works on the clock. And you need that screwdriver, huh? Find a way to apply the pattern from the Venus Flytrap to your clock.

Don't you remember what was waiting to be unscrewed? Where did you see those screws before? Now you've unscrewed it. A weird eye symbol on the front; also the froggy seems to turn around. Inside the aqua marble is a pretty underwater picture. What could it mean? Have you seen directional triangles like that somewhere before?

They were on the gold-framed picture on the wall. The seashells picture. The picture frame will come off the wall. You have one of those.

That round hole on top is interesting. Wonder what goes in there? Only, your green and aqua marbles won't fit in. Maybe you'll find another. Now, where could that key go? Sort of looks like that green gem on the box under the desk. What do you know? It does indeed match that box. Now you've got another marble. What else do you notice about the box?

Now you've got a green gem and a multi-colored marble. Wonder what the gem does. But you definitely know what do with the marble right? Back to the magnifier…. Where did you see the symbol before? Surely there's a connection. Maybe someone or something should look at the clock.

From the same position as in the marble image. Still nothing? Are you sure you accurately recreated the scene from the magnifier? Go back to the panel to the left of the plant shelf, and make sure the lights are on. The frog seems to be illuminating something. Nothing, actually. But there's something you need to do to Do you have something small and round that would catch the light? Light appears to be coming from it. Wonder what that indicates. The beam emanating from the green gem is shining onto… the floor!

Click the spot. There's a removable panel there, hiding some sort of switch. Can you open it? So your hand crank opened a panel on the wall. What's in it? Do you have anything that could make a strange key?

By filling holes? Can you adjust it so it fits into the holes in the compartment? When the peg tool unlocks those holes properly, a door can be clicked open. Behind the door opened by the peg key is a shaft holding a gear mechanism. Which is holding a wrench. Then add that product to the number for the triangle. Enter this 4-digit code into the cabinets. Note the position of the arrow. This indicates the arrow point found on the bottom of the Venus fly trap.

Press the buttons on the clock that correspond 1, 4, 5, 7, Get the screwdriver head. View the screwdriver handle and use the screwdriver head on it to get the screwdriver. Get the frog. View the frog until it turns around. Get the water marble. Use the water marble on the box and note the position of the arrows. Remove the marble. Lift the left seat cushion to get the crank handle.

Note the 4 items shown in the painting starfish, snail, shell, and coral rock. Click the arrows in the order that were indicated in the water marble. Get the picture. Get the box key. Make him face left. Place the frog on the shelf with the plants so the red plant is on its left. Turn on the lights. Insert the reflective gem in that slot.

Click it and use the crank handle to open the niche under the plants. Get the metal piece 2. View the handle you got earlier and press the correct pins so that it fits in the 3 holes in the wall. Get the wrench. Note the gear is moving. Insert all three metal pieces in the circle above the couch. Use this key on the left side of the shelving above the cabinet that required the 4-digit codes.

Get the desert marble. Note their position in this 4 x 4 sea grid. Number the squares 1 thru 16 from left to right, top to bottom to make it easier on yourself.

Note the position of the fishbones. Click the shelf on the wall on the left side. Position the fish in the correct position and then press the buttons that correspond with the location of the 4 items in the sea grid 6, 7, 12, Open the box and get the sketch book and the head key.

Read the sketchbook. Reposition the wooden figure to match it so it fits among the metal pieces. Insert the head key into the top of the figure.

Put the completed figure in the wall with the metal pieces. According to your sketch book, the Venus fly trap should open in the sunlight.

View the fly trap and get the air marble. Note the code. Each symbol represents the location of numbers Roman numerals found outside: windmill, hexagon, cog, semi-circle, windmill. Note the semi-circle number. Pull the handle to stop the windmill. Get the windmill number. Get the cog. Click above the door and you will eventually see on the windmill a blurred out spot.

Click down. Keep watching the windmill until you see the hexagon number. Get the drawer key 2. Get the rusted cog piece 2. Go up the ladder and insert the 2 rusted cog pieces. Watch the gears and get the cog key. You should have 4 marbles at this point: -Click the panel in the side wall and press the button.

Down you go! Click the puzzle to begin. Problem: couldn't put the marble in the frog's eye. Had to reload. Diana my numbers are as follows triangle square circle The formula is not working that you said would, where do we find the marble with the formula in it? Your code should be: The earth marble is green and has leaves , I believe, has the formula. You insert it into box, and then click the glass area to see it. I'm pretty sure all the symbolic codes throughout the game are a constant.

The numbers that are associated with each symbol is what differs for each person. I've been waiting over an hour and afraid to try again, incase it has to start over lol is this normal or should I try again? The code varies for each person. It should go: windmill - hexagon - cog - semicircle - windmill. Took over an hour and a half, but with just one hint from walkthrough!

Best Escape game Although its hard, theres no times where you are completely stumpted and have nothing to do Hmm, I get that number too. Have you viewed the formula for the shapes equation? Maybe it won't let you put in the code unless you do that. The game won't load for me either.

It doesn't even show up. All it has when I click the link are some google ads and the link to the original game site home. How did you guys get it to work? Wow, what an awesome game! Thanks so much for all of your tips, Diana. I'd have been here for days without them. I've been playing games on here for a few years. It's the first time i've posted. Also like to say i really enjoyed this game and keep up the good work. Yeah, no worries about the walkthrough, mercedes, but thank you!

Hopefully I could at least help a few ppl. Hi, i'm trying to open the game with the new link you people gave, but i don't know if is loading because it only appears as a black page with a white square, i hope somebody tell me if that's suppose to happen, or what Also server is backed up.. Are there suppose to be two windmill numbers? I got the number off the blade of the wind mill when you come out the door where is the other one?

Ok, I can't seem to do the code on the windmill, how can i use a number twice??? Am I missing something here? I am out I finally figured out the windmill thing, and the puzzle at the end was wild! I love how Neutral gets multiple uses out of objects, and how so many things are not what they at first appear.

I wish I could play a new Neutral game every week. This happened with Room Marine, too. I believe the term we came up with to describe the happenstance was "JIGged"? Ill have to reply all the old neutral escapes sometime I wish she made more than just one a year. Anyone know if the mini escape is still somewhere on the site? That was a really fantastic room escape. Perfect level of challenge where every view plays some part in the solution and everything can be worked out if you consider the clues carefully.

Plus the functionality is just excellent; I never felt like I was struggling with the interface. Gold star for Neutral, as always.

I really like those puzzles in room escape games that re-use certain interactive elements multiple times, like X in this game and the lever that controls the windmill in Vision. This game was very pleasant to play. The puzzles were logical and well thought out.

The only puzzle I thought was vague was the star puzzle A: Just one, but first he has to fetch the stepladder from the broom closet. And the closet is locked with a four-digit combination, the clue for which is hidden inside the locked desk drawer. And the key for that is hidden inside the soil of the potted plant, so you need a scoop to get it Why does it say "do the math"? The formula for which to "do the math" is in there.

So, while the combination in the walkthroughs may have differed from the ones in the version you played, it doesn't mean they were wrong for the walkthrough writers. I think there's only one version of the clock combination. The walkthroughs give the clock numbers that the arrow points to, rather than how many times to click on the arrow.

Before that point and after until the end, it was an easy game for me, maybe too easy, with beautiful puzzles but pretty straightforward to solve, in my opinion. Regarding the clock hands puzzle for the spade box, I played it twice and got the same combination both times, and Cory got that combination too, so I it turns out erroneously assumed that like the computer game and the CD puzzle, it was the same for everyone.

In contrast, the diamond puzzle gave me different numbers every time. Ok, it looks like it was NOT random, that people are just using two different understandings of the notation represented. We're adding a clarifying sentence to the walkthrough, hopefully this clears things up for everyone. No one even mentioned the biggest puzzle. That is, why was this review written by Jay with a picture of Dora and a walkthrough written by Joye?

A new Neutral game! Although also: damn you, Neutral, I was supposed to go to bed on time tonight for a change. This game managed to challenge, entertain, occupy, and actually make me grin at the sheer cleverness of everything. I particularly loved the way I was lead to believe I'd escaped. Neutral has once again proven performance and excellence in design and delivery. It is an absolute pleasure playing this game.

Linkage, despite being the only game developed this year by Neutral, will be in the Top Ten list of the year. The game is in the elite status with, but also in extreme competition to, the dozens of games developed this year by the superstar celebrities Mateusz Skutnik , Tesshi-e , and Dismentlement.

Will the JIG community find a game, before year end, that will top all games so far this year? Neutral's escape games are absolutely the BEST! Everything was intuitive except the placement of the star; the clue here was a just a tad too vague.

This is the first time I was actually able to finish a Neutral game without a walkthrough! I'm so proud of myself.

The puzzles were just right -- not too hard or too easy, and they were all pretty logical. And I really enjoyed the little references to Alice in Wonderland, too. It's been a long time since an escape game from them. Does anyone know if they're still developing escape games? This was not my favorite of Neutral's I was hoping for more rooms to discover such as with Lights and Vision and a second ending. That said, it was still an awesome game.

One aspect of Mya's games that make them rise above all the others is the artwork and picture-quality graphics I don't understand the folded paper with the numbers and the key on it.

I thought it had to do with the clock, but no. And I know the red diamond is 4. But what they wanted was for me to work the left side and right side separately and then add the two products together, which resulted in a completely different number!

Redhairsword In mathematics there's something called "Order of Operations", which states that multiplication and division are performed before addition and subtraction so that this kind of confusion can be avoided.

A full-length game from Neutral, without a secret alternate ending? That threw me for quite a loop I spent half an hour clicking around looking for alternate paths. The gotmail "English" webpage has the English games, but the regular Japanese gotmail website has a number of additional games.

Some require registration to access. I haven't gone that route yet, but it'd be great to have another "English" game from them. This new game from Neutral is another winner. Though it seems to be one where you have to have uncovered all the clues before the combination codes work.

This can be dicey for those of us who like to try our luck. I will say I figured out the heart puzzle before it was time to solve it, and I practically broke my wall banging my head against it, because the correct solution would not work. That's my only gripe. There's a computer game term for that, where you ought to be able to do something, but the game won't let you until you do some other unrelated thing first. Can't remember the term.

BEST escape game I've played in a long while. Thanks for featuring it JIG! Gabe Puratekuta: You might need to check your math. Remember the order of operations: multiplication and division first, and then addition and subtraction. I don't think I've ever had a problem with one of Neutral's games, but I seem to have found a bug. I've played it before adn it worked perfectly, yet for some reason I cannot find the white paper in the.

It's rather frustrating, especially when it's worked so well before. Has anyone had this problem? The white paper isn't showing up in the drawer for me either. I've tried deleting local flash storage and starting over, but that hasn't fixed it.

Has anyone got it to come back? Does anyone know is Mya is making another Christmas escape? Her "mini" escapes are always just as good if not better than other groups' full-length games A little tiny quibble. I realized why I don't like this game as much as her others. All of her recent games are thematic to the extreme.

No matter how I look at it, I can't see a linkage from previous steps to obtaining the 4-digit code rubric. Maybe a behavioral thing, i.

I absolutely loved it. Well done to it's creator. A good escape game with fantastic visuals: I found most of the puzzles to have logical solutions, but I agree with phelios27 and Bad Dog about the star puzzle i. Leave a comment [ top of page ]. Take the white remote and back out. Turn left twice to the couch view. Click under the couch, then grab the star.

Look at the plant over the entertainment center, grab the brown triangle behind the leaves. Tie the magnet to the string by clicking the magnet, examining the string then clicking it. Use this key to open the left cabinet on the entertainment center. Put the flags on the figurine in the box. Take the remote from the wall mount, examine it and get the battery. Go to the alcove and press the button to raise the chain and weight.

Alternate Linkage Walkthrough Turn left from the start, key under the desk, need to click under it to see the bottom side of the left hand drawer. Look at the door near the desk, check the mail slot to get the remote.

Use the key on the top-right drawer on the entertainment center to get a scraping knife. Move the bear on the entertainment center to get the string. Note the hole. Use the magnet on a string to get the key from the hole under the bear.

Move the paint can for the block. Use the mouse and keyboard on the monitor on the entertainment center. This goes in the door near the desk. Put it in then check the slot. Okay I'm stuck. Objects I have now: 1 battery, piece of transparent paper with clue, blue star, padlock, remote control, notebook with lots of clues. There's a key taped under one of the desk drawers. Hey Jay, thanks, but I've already done that : That's how I got the notebook :. Also, my clue red diamond was actually a 67, so the numbers might be changing!

That's good to know. How did you get the notebook? I can't figure out the red padlock at all. I'm at the same spot, but I also have a pink string. Also, there's a triangle block under the leaves of the plant next to the monitor. Umm, I got it by using the clue on the piece of paper I found. The notebook and the padlock both come from the vent beside the desk. Ok, got it! Joye Did you find the piece of paper with the mathematical clue for the padlock code? Ok, so where was that piece of paper?

Got the heart box opened! Gonna save this for tomorrow so I can savor it. And I'm OUT! Need help? Just ask. I'll post a walkthrough as soon as I sort out everything I did. I feel like i have the heart code, but for some reason it isnt working. Fishy, what do you do with the box with the spade on it? I'm stuck there. Is there no second ending? I can't seem to find anything changed after getting the first one. Fishy: I also have the knob which I put on it, but I don't know how to turn it.

Fishy i'm almost done i just need the 2nd battery but i can't find it anywhere.
